About Lindsay Foster

Profile: 2014-2015 marks my sixteenth year in education. This is my seventh year with Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD. I also taught in Oklahoma City prior to my relocation over ten years ago to the great state of Texas! I have worked as a tutor and SAT and ACT instructor with private, for-profit education learning centers as well as privately tutoring and I am a consultant (when the occasion warrants) for student-athletes seeking information about the NCAA Clearinghouse and the Clearinghouse process. I am married to Marc, my husband of nineteen years, and I have three wonderful children (ninth, eighth, and sixth graders) who attend Eagle Mountain-Saginaw schools. We also have a two cats, Charlie Parker and Josephine (Josie) Baker. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education (certified grades 1-8, Generalist) from Oklahoma City University and I am currently working on the Texas Master Technology Teacher Certificate (MTTC) and EDGE Letter of Endorsement. Further, I am a member of the Discovery Educator Network (DEN), a DEN STAR, a DENSI 2014 participant, a Symbaloo Certified Educator, a Common Sense Media Certified Educator:Digital Citizenship and a Common Sense Certified Educator on Graphite. I am involved in several volunteer and service related organizations and I love spending time with my kids and their various Scout units! I have grown to love camping and hiking and I'm certified as an instructor in a wide variety of athletic activities including swimming, life guarding, and archery! Additionally I am a web designer and I serve as web master for a variety of the organizations with whom I am involved. I believe that EVERY child has the capacity to learn... but not every child learns in the same way or at the same rate.
