FabTech in Arkansas

It amazes me at how many others are able to not only look at 6  – 10 websites daily, they TAG them when they post them to Delicious or to their own Blog. That is my goal (one of them) over the summer. I WILL organize my Delicious tags. I will organize my Discovery Learning Classes. I will organize my files on my computer – okay, I won’t get all of that accomplished. But by writing it down I hope to do at least one of these.

I have started to experience some of the wonderful benefits of the DEN – it is not just a cute badge that can be posted on your page (although that IS quite a perk!). The Arkansas Council hosted a Flip/Glog seminar where teachers learned how to use the Flip cameras and then post the video to Glog.edu. Great resources! (Thanks for the Gift Card!)

I signed up for the Denver Zoo outing before ISTE. More great ideas will come.

Teacher Appreciation Week giveaways! Prezi, more webinars, opportunities to win Frames……

And the best benefit is connecting with other teachers who show such great enthusiasm for  sharing with students. This goes beyond standing and doling out information. Students are encouraged to find material, make it their own, and share in a creative manner.
