DEN Central Region Conference

We are having a great time in Dallas, TX for the Central Region Conference. There are so many different sites that are easy to use and are powerful for our instruction. All of these are being referenced on the DEN wiki for the Central Conference.

Last night Kris and I took the Scavenger Hunt Challenge on the SMU campus. We had so much fun looking for the items on the list. We met students on campus, maintenance workers and even the guys at Coldstone while working on collecting our video and digital images. Enjoy a look into our scavenger hunt here…

First Blog Post

Testing out my blog at the DEN Leadership Council Institute. So many new ideas are coming in fast. Hall shared a presentation on cell phones this morning. It might be a nice way to offer surveys in a workshop. Participants can text in their choices and then you get their feedback that can be displayed on the screen during your presentation. Right now I’m in Steve Dembo’s Blogging 101. He’s sharing ideas on using Blogs in education…more to come soon.
