About Me
Greetings to all! My name is Allison Bakken and I have been teaching 5th grade for 6 years. I grew up in Minnesota, but now live in the most beautiful state in the country, Montana! My dream of working with children and living in the mountains has been fulfilled. I continue to strive for excellence with teaching and motivating future educators. I recently finished my Masters in Education, Integrating Technology into the Classroom. I enjoy the great outdoors as well as the virtual world.

- Got married in 2006 on a ski hill!
- Have a Golden Retriever named Dozer and he is 3 years old
- Love to ski, swim, scrapbook, play soccer, and go camping
- Am a wildland firefighter in the summer for Castle Mountain Fire
- Enjoy reading, technology, Web 2.0, and music
- Would say my favorite teacher was Mrs. Pickering my 5th grade teacher
- Have traveled to 5 other countries and have been to 37 states
