One of the things that I learned about on my DEN excursion this summer was Google groups. I had never used them before and now I am a Google fiend. I just created my own gadget to countdown the days until my next disney trip AND the last day of school. (LOL)

I have been pushing Google groups in district as a collaborative tool and I “think” they are finally starting to see the power. There have been many missteps and plenty of confusion but I can see the lightbulb going off even as I see the anxiety rising over “another new tool”.

I just got an new book from FTC Publishing called Google Apps for Education, I can’t wait to dive into it this weekend and learn more. I would love to hear about anyone’s adventures with Google Apps personal or professional.
