WOW, Macworld is iNsane!

Floor_5 OK, so I admit, I have never been to Macworld.  The only way to describe it…incredible.  Thousands of people buzzing about the latest hardware, software and most importantly, gadget accessories that can be used in conjunction with anything Apple.  Just take a look at this exhibit floor and you can practically feel the excitement.

Scott_and_david Tomorrow, the K12 Market Symposium kicks off with distinguished speaker and author David Warlick (a brilliant, wonderful educator and generally nice guy).  Following David will be our very own Hall Davidson speaking on the educational impact of media in the classroom.

ReceptionTo celebrate the return of the K12 strand to Macworld, this afternoon we had the pleasure to host, in partnership with CUE, a number of educators from throughout the country (and beyond).  This not only provided us an opportunity to interact with a variety of educators that effectively integrate technology into their teaching practices, but also gave educators a chance to interact with every one of the featured speakers for the K12 Symposium, including David Warlick, Hall Davidson, Carol Anne McGuire and Rae Niles.

US History Teachers: I just wanted to share some info about a work shop I attended on Thursday, January 26th. If you have the opportunity to attend, it is a must! Not only does Colonial Williamsburg Teacher Institute provide numerous teaching strategies, they also have a fantastic website that lends itself to some outstanding technology tools. Please check it out!http://www.colonialwilliamsburg.com/history/teaching/index.cfm
