The NEW Discovery Educator Network website!

I am proud to announce that the new Discovery Educator Network website is up and running!  If you haven’t seen it yet, swing by DiscoveryEducatorNetwork.com. and check it out.

I gotta be honest, I feel like a proud papa!  Hundreds of people spread out across the globe have been working 24 hours a day for months to bring Discovery Educators a website that was worthy of the DEN logo.  Ok, maybe that’s stretching the truth just a little, but we really have been working days nights and weekends to get the new site up and running and I think you’ll find that it’s going to be an amazing resource for you and the teachers you work with.

The entire site revolves around educators.  There is a calendar that Discovery Educators can use to schedule their own DEN events.  The Discussion Boards are a great place to ask questions and get answers from both educators and Discovery employees.  Every Discovery Educator has their very own blog available to them.  My personal favorite area though is the Educator Resources, which is a place where teachers can share lessons, projects and resources that they have created using digital media and new technologies.  It’s already starting to grow at an incredible rate!

So stop by the new site and check it out!  If you’re a Discovery Educator, you’ve probably been pre-registered and just need to enter in your unitedstreaming username and password.  If that doesn’t work, just click on the word "Register" and you’ll be on  your way.  See you there!

Very cool, Steve!! I really like being able to search for people and their blogs. But what did it do to my picture? Do I always look like that?

Well, I wasn’t going to say anything, but yes, that’s how we see you :)

Looks like we’ve got a little bug to work out with the thumbnails! Now that you mention it, stretched mine out a bit as well.
