I live in a most unique city, St. Cloud, Florida. We are the first city in the nation that has FREE wireless internet provided for its citizens! What a cool deal that is for our local DEN members and teachers who use unitedstreaming. I have begun a series of four trainings that I will be doing from our home in CyberSpot:
50 Ways to Use unitedstreaming,
PowerPoint and unitedstreaming, Virtual Field Trips with Google Earth and unitedstreaming and Assignment Builder.
These trainings will be available on the DEN website and will continue through the summer when teachers don’t have as much pressure as the end of the school year.

Tonight, we had a special treat during our Google Earth training. David Douglass, computer teacher at Sunrise Elementary School has been working with Google Earth and his elementary school students. The kids are building Google Earth projects! David shared so many unique tips in Google Earth and has even created a website for sharing his expertise. www.gelessons.com Visit often because it is a work in progress. David was happy to work with other teachers interested in Google Earth because he was starting to think he was all alone out here. www.gearthblog.com Welcome to the Discovery Educator Network David. You are not alone!
As always, I am
Ubiquitously yours in CyberSpot
Karen
