Fifteen ladies and Lance make for a great DEN Camp in Osceola County this week! Discovery Education and Osceola County School District have teamed up to sponsor Advanced DEN Camp. These teachers have committed to create a Unit Plan for their classrooms for the 2006-2007 school year. We are encouraging them to join with our other Discovery Educators at the Southeast Regional Event in Atlanta to "Create Masterpieces." Lance took the ladies on a tour of 50 Ways to Use unitedstreaming and even showed them a mini lesson on Movie Maker. I learned a really cool thing today when Lance was showing the calendar. Today, June 19th is Juneteenth, the celebration of the end of slavery. I never knew that and I was especially surprised because it’s my birthday and I just never saw that before. Yeah unitedstreaming!
