Present across state boundries!
If you’re a STAR Discovery Educator, then you already know just how valuable connecting with other teachers can be. You already realize just how much you can learn from other educators, as well as how much they can learn from you.
So this year, why not try your hand at presenting? Register to present something that you’ve learned for your peers at your state’s education technology conference. Or if you’re feeling adventurous, apply to present at a neighboring state conference as well! If you live in Wisconsin, why not visit Illinois and share your knowledge at their ICE conference? It’s a great way to make new connections with other educators and hone your own presentation skills.
So branch out a little and submit proposals to some neighboring states as well as your own. Share some of that knowledge you’ve been soaking up as part of the DEN!
Here’s an incomplete list of state conferences. If you see any that are missing, please add them as a comment!
