Looking for Money?

Clipart_money_034 A colleague of mine made me aware of a website where teachers can go to submit small grant proposals for a variety of needs in their classroom.  At Donor’s Choose, you can type up your proposal and then donors can browse those proposals and choose which one(s) they wish to fund.  My colleague received $200 this year to pay for balsawood needed for projects related to the Science Olympiad.  My first thought was to put a proposal up for a digital camera to use with digital storytelling.  Whatever your need is, it’s worth a try!  You can also choose to donate money towards funding proposals and they are inviting bloggers to challenge their readers to fund certain proposals.  Check it out!
