TCEA is once again sponsoring student contests. These are a great way to get your students excited about technology and learning! Categories include: web design, digital graphics, multimedia, digital audio, desktop publishing, digital video, and animation. In addition, they are having a High School Programming Contest and a Robotics Contest. For deadlines and more details, visit the TCEA Student Contest website.
Another opportunity for students to compete nationwide is NSTA‘s 16th annual ExploraVision awards. For this contest, students work in teams and simulate real-life research and development teams. Specifically, they are tasked with exploring a technology and imagining what it could be like in 20 years. NSTA is teaming with Toshiba to include great prizes, such as up to $240,000 in savings bonds, laptop computers for schools, and other great prizes for students, teachers, and mentors.
