Are you attending WEMTA or some other conference in the near future? Perhaps NECC this summer? If so, you have to check out this link posted on Chris Bogan’s blog. The post describes 27 things to do before a conference. I don’t follow this blog at all, in fact, I’ve never even heard of it, but thanks to Twitter, the information came my way.
Some of the advice seems pretty basic, like checking out the conference schedule ahead of time so you have a plan, but I bet everyone doesn’t do this. I know there will be people flipping through the program on day one of the conference trying to figure out what to do. I liked this post, it put ideas into my head that will allow me to prepare, enjoy, and get the most out of my attendance. It’s certainly worth the five minute read.
This post was actually shared by WEMTA itself. The conference has it’s own Twitter account and is sharing information about the conference and communicating with attendees that way.
