DEN National Geocaching Day in Wichita

Curious about Geocaching? Want to learn how geocaching may be used in your classroom? Come and join us for a fun day of geocaching at the Great Plains Nature Center in Wichita, KS on May 30th. This first ever event is sponsored by Discovery Education Network, WPS Instructional Technology Department and the Great Plains Nature Center.

The day will begin at 8:30 with registration and a short presentation on geocaching and instructional ideas at 9:00. The virtual geocache event will start around 10:00 and cover the adjacent South Chisholm Creek Park. Lunch and prizes will
be provided after everyone successfully completes the geocaching activity.

Bring your own GPS or one will be provided for you.
