The first-ever formal DEN Forum was a huge success! We had a great turnout in room 201, where we sat ’round a table and had a great chat! The topic for discussion was “Education Reform: What Can One Teacher Do?” Celestia Cazalet (me) facilitated the discussion. With very little prompting, the group had some really great things to say about the condition of education in the U.S. and things that might make education better.
From topics like teacher retention and student engagement to STEM education and student mentoring, the conversation never stalled. It was just another one of those times that proves how valuable good ol’ collaboration can be!
A big THANK YOU! to everyone who showed up! If you missed the forum, you can download a copy of the transcript below. If you have ideas for future forum topics, email firstname.lastname@example.org or im Celestia Cazalet.
