Highlights from the Den National Institute
Couldn’t be at the DEN National Institute this year? Don’t worry, neither could I! But thanks to the efforts of Alice Mercer, I’ve been able to attend several sessions virtually. She has graciously shared links to the live streams of sessions done by Adam Frey (Wikispaces), Claudia L’Amoreaux (Linden Lab/Second Life) and our very own, Hall Davidson.

What an amazing event! The National Institute has inspired me share the many resources we were shown with everyone in my district. Thanks to everyone at Discovery Education!

I was so honored to be able to attend DENNI this year. The video of Claudia L’Amoruaux was the first U-stream I’ve ever done, and I’m so happy I tried it!
I do however, want to make one correction on this post; The company is “Linden Lab” -singular. Many people refer to it as Linden Labs and it has become a bit of a sore spot for them.

Thank you for the fun, food and friendships you have shared with us at the DENNI. This has been a great “tech boot camp” experience for me :D.
I have linked this post to my personal blog (http://teachersol.blogspot.com), I hope I’ll be able to access my DEN blog again soon *wink.
Thanks everyone!

Thank you, Alice, for taking the time to create this resource for others. The DENNI was fantastic and I can’t wait to pass on the experience to other teachers.

Alice,
It was great getting to know you at DENNI and I am grateful you created these streams so I can re-visit them.
Thanks!
