Discovery Box

No, it’s not from Discovery Education but it is still an awesome tool. Discovery Box provides the tools for you to build up an argument or description of an event, person or historical period by placing items in a virtual box.Basically, you get a cube.  You can take that cube and add text, images, video, and audio. The creator can also assemble digital photographs, web links, Word documents , PowerPoint presentations and other kinds of files. You can also comment on the boxes of others.  Each box can hold from 1 to 24 cubes.  The nice feature about this site is that is designed for educators and students.  Accounts for students can be created. When students submit their boxes, they are sent to the teacher for review and publication.

Lynn – Thanks for sharing this Web site. It looks like a great resource and an exciting alternative to PowerPoint presentations!
