Last evening in an Eluminate session hosted by Classroom 2.0’s Steve Hargadon and Sue Waters of Edublogs the 2009 winners of the Edublog Awards – the “Eddies” were announced. Now in it’s sixth year the Edublog awards this time around featured some old favorites and many new entrants. One winner had been blogging for less than 6 months and had caught the attention of many readers. Right now at the Edublogs Awards site you can see the full list of the nominees who made the “short list” in all the categories. Sue promises to have the full list of winners and the first and second runners up posted today (she was double checking the spelling on all the URL’s at last report) . However, the fast fingered Cathy Nelson has posted the winners on her blog – Techno Tuesday. Truth be told, there were no losers here, all of the folks who were nominated, and short listed, deserve your time and attention. If you are a veteran Web 2.0 educator, or just starting out, the list of Edublog Award winners and nominees is a rich source of quality content that will amaze you, challenge you, and spin your head with new ideas. Congrats to all!
