Advocate For Technology in Virginia

Share Your Voice

Happy new year and I hope this post finds you all well rested from the holiday season. As we return to our work, it is important to remember that it’s budget time both locally and statewide. Like many of our districts, the state of VA is also dealing with a budget shortfall. Once again state technology funding is in jeopardy. I wanted to make you aware of a few resources that were provided by VSTE. I hope you will take a moment and use the below resources.  It is critical that we make sure our voices are heard in support of instructional technology.

2010-2012 Biennial Budget (as Introduced by Governor Kaine) eliminates technology money for the next two years.
