This DEN Spring Training will give you an opportunity to connect with a like-minded community of educators and learn more about DE Streaming. Session presentations explain how to integrate DE Streaming into your classrooms to peak the interest of your connected learners. Topics will cover everything from the DE Streaming basics to how to use powerful digital storytelling tools to excite and engage your students.
Training Sessions from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
Complimentary access to the Museum begins at 1:00 PM.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

The more visual the piece of information, the more likely our brains will be able to recall it; a phenomenon knows as Pictorial Superiority Effect. Join me as we explore the power of Web 3.0 as a means of engaging learners and enhancing learning through Visual Literacy. Learn specific strategies for locating visual media. We will look at various Web 3.0 applications which allow for the collection, presentation, and dissemination of such media. Is Visual Literacy important? You bet it is!
