Calling Orange County Educators: Enter the TrashARTist Challenge!

Brought to you by MUZEO, Hilton, Orange County Office of Education, and AMF Anaheim, a great challenge for Orange County Educators and Students!

The TrashARTist challenge is a county-wide celebration of arts and education communicating a message about the importance of recycling and creating a zero waste environment.  Through this arts education program, students will create art out of recycled materials heightening awareness and promoting zero-waste recycling.  Here’s a lesson plan to kick off the challenge!

To enter:

1. Register your group by April 20, 2010

2. Submit your finished artwork to the instructed location – find your location at http://www.trashartist.com/

Prizes include a flip video for the class, prizes for the students, and a weekend getaway for teachers at the Anaheim Hilton including dinner and breakfast plus tickets to Disneyland.
