I attended a workshop yesterday and one of the presenters was using a really neat USB camera as a document camera.  It is called the IPEVO Point 2 View USB Camera.  It can be used as a web cam with Skype and other IM applications and it can take 2 megapixel pictures.  The quality of the image was pretty impressive, as was the ease of use.  Perhaps the most intriguing aspect was the price.  It retails for around $99., but with a little searching around the internet, I was able to find it for less than $70.  I can’t wait for mine to arrive.
