DEN Teacher Appreciation Week: Day 5

Posted on the DEN National Blog by Lance Rougeux

What a week!  We should celebrate like this every week.   On our last day of DEN Teacher Appreciation Week we have the support of two more great partners.

AllKidsCrafts

Our friends at AllKidsCrafts, a fantastic site for teachers as well as parents, have donated free six-month accounts to all STARS.

To discover how you can take advantage of this special offer, go to: http://community-beta.discoveryeducation.com/teacherappreciation and log in as a STAR.

all kids craftsAllKidsCrafts.com can be described in three words: easy, creative, and learning. It’s easy because we create weekly lesson plans and supply printable templates and directions. It’s creative because all our activities are centered around play and encourage artistic expression. It fosters learning because everything we do is geared toward early childhood literacy. Subscribers to AllKidsCrafts.com receive access to our searchable database of more than 100 top-quality craft ideas and printables (with new items added weekly).Subscribers also receive a “Weekly E-venture!” newsletter written by an early childhood literacy specialist. Each week’s E-venture explores a new theme and supplies the craft ideas, printable templates, web links, songs, facts, science experiments, book lists and even snack recipes that relate to that subject. Our subscribers range from teachers to parents to grandparents and all love the convenience and learning fun AllKidsCrafts.com provides.

iaPeel

Our second STAR offer comes from our friends at iaPeel.  From now until the end of June STARs can get a 20% discount at iaPeel by entering the coupon code: TEACHERSROCK.

Also, we’ll be giving away one “Pick-a-Pack” prize from iaPeel every hour today (12 ET to 6 PM ET) to lucky STARs who post a comment to this blog telling us about their favorite teacher ever.

The iaPeel “Pick-a-Packs” include a fan t-shirt and 60 total skins in packs of five for any combination of devices (retail $180).
