Just a reminder that on Saturday, October 23rd, the place to be is… wherever you want to be (as long as you’re online)!
The DEN Virtual Conference is a unique professional development opportunity that delivers great information from leaders in education to a place that is convenient to you. Get together with some friends or host a local event- post a comment to let us know if you’re going to arrange a meet up somewhere. All you need is Internet access to participate. Whether you share a small screen or a big one, don’t miss the chance to participate.
For more information about the event, visit the DEN National blog. There are contest opportunities, too, so be sure to check it out. The online event begins at 9 AM and wraps up at 3 PM. Of course, if you want to meet in-person, the schedule for the day is completely up to you! Just check into the online event on the hour if you want to see what our DEN experts are sharing.
Let other SC educators know if you want to meet somewhere on Saturday by posting a comment to the blog. Let us know where you’re going to be and if you’d like to invite others. If you decide to get some folks together in-district or in your school, feel free to post that so we can brag about the networking taking place. Better yet, post contact information for other educators in your area! If you’re looking for places that offer free WiFi, here are just a few to consider: the public library, McDonald’s, Atlanta Bread Company, Starbucks, and Panera. If you have your own favorite place to recommend, just post that below.
Regardless of where you decide to attend, you’ll need to register. Take a few minutes to complete the online registration. Don’t forget to come back here and tell us that you’ll be online- and invite a few friends along!
