There will be a unique conference on January 22, 2011, you won’t want to miss. The Talking Points Conference aims to facilitate discussion among educators on various topics important to a 21st century classroom.
With breakout sessions that center around archived DEN Virtual Conference presentations, K12 Online Conference presentations, TED Talks, and other sources, educators will have an opportunity to share, collaborate, and network in meaningful ways that will encourage exploration in their own classrooms.
There will be a dedicated room streaming the DEN SciCon so that science educators can find sessions unique to their classrooms.
Right now, the conference is scheduled to run from 9:00 to 12:00 with lunch following (registration begins at 8:30). However, if there is enough interest, the conference could run through the afternoon as well. The conference will be held at the beautiful Jack E. Singley Academy in Irving, Texas. If you are a DFW-area educator, and you would like to attend, you may register here. For more information, email Elaine Plybon at email@example.com.
