The New England Day of Discovery is a FREE conference style day of professional development that will highlight creative ways to engage students and invigorate curriculum with the latest 21st century tools and instructional strategies. Our keynote, Dan Riskin, host of Animal Planet’s popular show Monsters Inside Me will be sharing a little bit about his experiences with bats and parasites in his many travels, as well as, his unique perspective on the role of emerging technology and the impact of educators in an ever-changing world. Whether you are new to Discovery Education or a long-time user in search of the latest instructional strategies, this event has something for everyone.

Last year, this event drew over 250 educators from MA, RI, NH, VT, CT, and ME and provided an amazing opportunity to network and connect with like-minded educators. We are excited to announce that Glogster EDU will be joining us again this year! You can expect four unique sessions from the Glogster EDU team that will provide the 101 tips needed to engage new gloggers to the advanced tools and curriculum based resources for the Glogster EDU ambassadors. We are proud to announce a new addition to the event, our friends at Promethean will be joining us to share new ways to use digital media and interactive whiteboards.
