DEN Virtual – Camaraderie and Collaboration

Arizona hosted three f2f groups for DEN Spring Virtual. A big thanks to Deena Jorgenson for taking photos and maintaining a running list of URL’s mentioned in each session and from the chat. April Weston wrote on the walls – large colorful bands of paper to record comments and hot topics related to each session. Both April and Deena co-hosted the session at Blue Ridge Intermediate School.

Other events were scheduled at the Round Valley Library and in Deer Valley at Terramar. We’re hoping to hear from them soon.

This article titled “Finishing the School Year Strong” seemed appropriate for this time of year. It is from Education Week (edweek.org) which may require free registration.

How are you making these last few weeks memorable?
What is your prompt to provoke your students continuous learning over the summer?

IDEAL hosts DiscoveryEducation streaming for Arizona

Another perk for Arizona educators is the recent addition of 5000+ DE resources to IDEAL’s Learning Resource Manager (LRM). Logon, go to the learning resource managerĀ  and try a keyword search for “environment” to retrieve videos, lesson plans, and podcasts ready for you to mash-up in a lesson for your classroom or explore for your personal professional development.
