If you have been searching Discovery Education STREAMING and using digital media in your classroom we’re sure you’ve noticed the “Recently Added” button above your search results (see image below).

Educators often wonder why we would include  this button and how it might be helpful for them.  Our goal is to always provide numerous ways to search for and locate the content that you are looking for as swiftly as possible.  And for those of you wondering what new content has been added to the STREAMING service, this is a great way to search!

If you’d like to try to search this way, simply select “DE Streaming” from the Services Drop-down menu.  Then choose “Full Video”.  Depending on whether you subscribe to STREAMING or STREAMING Plus, the number of search results may vary.  Ensure that your search is populating by “Recently Added” on the right-hand side.

If you’re a STREAMING Plus subscriber, a few recently added titles that I’ve found quite stimulating and would suggest perusing on your summer vacation include:

• Through the Wormhole: Season 2: Edge of the Universe (with Morgan Freeman)
• Nuclear Nightmare: Japan in Crisis
• Mega Quake: Hour that Shook Japan
• Tornado Rampage 2011
