Science Saturdays

Science Saturdays are a series of lectures and demonstrations that are held on the first Saturday of each month in the NC Museum of Natural Sciences’ Windows on the World theater at 11:00 am. Science Saturdays mainly target middle- and high-school students to show them the vast world of scientific research and allow them to interact with experts in a variety of scientific fields; however, everyone is welcome to attend. Science Saturdays are held in partnership with the NC State University Biomedical Engineering Department and are funded through NC Space Grant.

Teachers: If you would like to offer your students extra credit for attending one or more Science Saturday programs, please contact Bonnie Eamick (bonnie.eamick@ncdenr.gov).
