Bringing the Chase to Iowa!

One of the really cool things about Discovery Education is that we can bring the world of Discovery, and its talent to educators around the country.  And on, Monday, October 17, 2011 we’re bringing Reed Timmer, Discovery Education’s Chief Meteorologist from Discovery Channel’s Storm Chasers to Iowa for a special reception with Iowa educators.

If you haven’t had a chance to check out the Discovery Channels show Storm Chaser’s yet – you’ll definitely want to so soon – and make sure you hold onto your seats when you do!

Reed’s become famous for his curiosity and drive to understand the science of extreme weather.  He’ll be sharing his expertise and stories with area educators.
