Join us at the Apple Store in the West Towne Mall, Madison, WI on Saturday, February 18 at 8:00 a.m. to learn about how the iPad is being used in education. In addition, STEM integration ideas, the Discovery Mobile App., and a variety of other educational apps. will be shared.
Discovery Education members are invited as we explore how the new iPad2, along with the thousands of apps. now available in the Apps Store are being used in education in many creative and innovative ways.
You will have a chance to hear from other educators as to how they are using the iPad in the classroom. In addition, you will also learn about Discovery Education’s ground-breaking iPad web app, which focuses on student exploration of safe and appropriate educational content.
This event is limited to 30 people, so don’t delay, register today!
Tentative Agenda includes:
8:00 a.m. – Arrive at the Apple Store and enjoy a light breakfast (rolls, coffee).
8:15 a.m. – Hear a presentation from the Apple staff about the iPad2 and have an opportunity to try it.
9:15 a.m. – Have an opportunity to see the Discovery Education iPad2 App. and hear from other educators as to how they are using the iPad in the classroom. In addition, iPad STEM integration will also be shared. This event if for ALL grade levels.
