It has come to our attention that some of you have been wrestling with our upload tool for the Dr. Lodge Video Contest. Uh-oh! While we are impressed with your persistance and stick-to-it-ness, we do apologize for the struggle. We have called-in IT for support (yeah that’s right, even the techies call for help!), and all is now operational, but we are human 🙂 We encourage you to upload your videos to the contest website by following these 3 simple steps.
3 – Select your file
Now we realize that being an educator, you might be naturally predetermined to carry the “worry” gene. So, to set your fears aside and ensure you have the time that is needed to complete the upload step, we will be extending the contest by one week. This means one more entire week to perfect your entries and ensure that you have the best chance to win a flip camera, student backpacks, and even the opportunity to host Dr. Lodge at your school! Here are some helpful pointers to keep in mind.
- Updated Timeframe: Uploads: now – 3/11/12; Judging: 3/12 – 3/25; Public voting: 3/26 – 4/1
- Register: Allow us to keep you informed of contest updates and tell us your shirt size! (Click “register” on the right-hand side of the contest website)
- Tips: Check out the Q&A Webinar (also linked below), Watch the kinesthetic lectures, and Review the rubric
- Reminders: no logos on clothing, no editing your video
