2012 Easter Egg Roll Poster Contest

The White House invites all elementary and middle school students to submit poster designs for the 2012 Easter Egg Roll. This year’s theme, “Let’s Go, Let’s Play, Let’s Move”, promotes health and wellness following the First Lady’s Let’s Move! initiative, a national campaign to combat childhood obesity. The First Lady will select the winning design, which will be used as part of the White House 2012 Easter Egg Roll program.

The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, March 7th, 2012.

Students from the Washington, D.C. area have had a special relationship with the White House Easter Egg Roll for generations. In the early 1800s, local children rolled eggs on the Capitol Steps the day after Easter.
