You’re Invited! VA Spring Virtual Conference Event

The Virginia Leadership Council would like to invite you to attend the Spring Virtual Conference with us!

The day will be about sharing digital media tools that make learning engaging and fun. It will be a day of  connecting you with your most valuable resource… each other!

The Discovery Educator Network is mixing it up a little this spring and trying something different.  Instead of the typical Spring Virtual Conference, the DEN has partnered with Classroom 2.0 to present the Social Learning Summit.  This event will take the place of the DEN Virtual Conference in 2012.  In conjunction with the DEN, Steve Hargadon will be organizing the event that will take place on Saturday, April 21st.

The day will be a mix of virtual and in-person sessions.

– Deep exploration of the rich variety of digital content available within Discovery Education.
– Integration strategies and exemplar learning experiences to bring digital content alive in your classroom and engage students across the curriculum.
– Thorough exposure to a wealth of professional development resources including continuous support through the Discovery Educator Network.

Then conference will take place at CD Hylton High School in Woodbridge, VA on Saturday, April 21st.
