Social Learning Summit- April 21, 2012

Please join us at Hinsdale Central High School at 5500 S Grant Street in Hinsdale, IL as we collaborate and experience the Discovery Spring Virtual Social Learning Summit with colleagues who share our enthusiasm. Learn also about the DEN and what we have to offer to those of like mind.
The 2012 Social Learning Summit is a one-day virtual conference being held as a partnership of Classroom 2.0 and the Discovery Educator Network, on Saturday, April 21st, 2012, from 8:00am – 2:00pm. The conference theme is the use of social media and Web 2.0 in teaching and learning. This is a free event, with a focus on inclusion and participation. All sessions will be publicly available to attend through the online Blackboard Collaborate platform, and every session will be recorded and made available immediately following the conference. Fee: Free (CPDUs will be given)
A light breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Schedule for the Day

8:00-11:00 – 30 minute sessions beginning on the top and bottom of each hour.

9:00-10:00 – One hour long session featuring Dean Shareski

11:00-12:00 – One hour keynote session featuring Hall Davidson

12:00-2:00 – 30 minute sessions beginning on the top and bottom of each hour.
