There is one thing I can be certain about. Unless I am alone, I am rarely the smartest person in the room. Now, don’t get me wrong. I know stuff. I’m pretty smart about a lot of things, but there are still a lot of things I am still learning. That’s where my DEN family helps me. Collectively, we know a whole bunch of great stuff and can make a difference in the lives of kids. Connecting and collaborating makes us all better teachers. August is Connected Educator Month. To celebrate, we scheduled a series of webinars called “The Collective Brain”. I hosted the one last week. It featured DEN Gurus Karen Ogen from SC and David Fisher from FL. I also shared one of my favorite presentations, “Things I Learned TODAY!” You can watch the archive below.
Tonight, my friend (and somebody who I learn from frequently) Steve Dembo is hosting. He’s got a bunch of folks lined up to share too.
