This week you get to meet Gwynn Moore.
I am the Media/Technology teacher at Paris Elementary in Aurora, Colorado. I work with students in grades K-5 in helping them find books to read at home and build their skills using technology. In addition to working with students I also work with teachers in building their technology skills and integrating technology into their instruction.I am the Events Coordinator for Colorado’s DEN LC as well as a certified trainer for Promethean and Thinkfinity, a Tech4Learning Innovative Educator, and a NEA ELL Trainer. I have shared my understandings and knowledge of technology integration through local conference presentations at CCIRA, Colorado TIE, CoLearning 2.0, Morgridge Family Foundation Share Fair; and nationally at SD. TIE, ITEC, ISTE, Activ08 and SimpleK12 Two-Minute Ed Tech Tech Talk, and 2011 Microsoft Innovative Educator Forum.
I have been a DEN Star for about 5 years and last summer I was chosen to attend DENSI in San Diego. Attending DENSI was an invaluable experience to build my knowledge about Discovery Education and finding new ways to use their resources in my instruction and when I work with my teachers.
I am excited that Colorado has a DEN Leadership Council and helping organize the different events for Colorado’s DEN stars!
