Louis Sachar is visiting- Are you kidding me?!

Decatur, Georgia is home to independent book store Little Shop of Stories.
It’s a local and inter-galactic favorite.  Book fans of all sorts converge on Little Shop and Decatur each September thanks to our incredible book festival.

The store’s fantastic On the Same Page initiative promotes one book per year that the entire community reads… and it is capped off with a visit from the author.  This year’s title is Holes by Louis Sachar.

Are you kidding me?! I’ve been reading and sharing his books as long as I can remember.

The entire community is reading this book, blogging about it, discussing it, sharing it, and living it through events and parties.
Movie day is Saturday, Nov. 3 at Decatur High School – free admission!  It will be a grand party.

Louis Sachar will be at Agnes Scott College’s Presser Hall live and in person on December 7th- seating is first come first seated until full.  I guarantee there will be a line around the block hours before the doors open.  You’re invited, too- so please join us in our reading and celebrating!  If you finish the book and send me your address I’ll mail you an OTSP wrist band, too.

But only if you finish the book.
