DEN STARs in the News: Cheryl Phillips

The Washington Post shared an interesting article lately.  The article centered  on Bilbo Boudin Baggett, or “Bo” for short, and he belongs to Cheryl Phillips, a teacher at Pennington Traditional school in Manassas. Phillips acquired her doughy friend almost four years ago during a trip with Discovery Education to the Boudin Bakery in San Francisco, where the teachers were given a baguette to take home.  Read the article for more information about how Bo has lasted through the years.  As you can see below, Bo has had quite a few fun adventures.

It’s great to see how the DEN  can take an average piece of dough and turn it into something much, much bigger.  Way to go, Cheryl!
