Happy Mousey Monday from Mousey to our Cache and Cookie readers! Lunar New Year was yesterday, February 10, 2013. This year, Lunar New Year is being celebrated from February 9 to February 15 in many Asian countries. This year’s Chinese Zodiac animal is the Snake. We have an excellent collection of videos on Discovery Education streaming to educate your students on how different cultures celebrate their New Year. Contrary to the popular belief, not all new year celebrations  fall on the first day of the year as most of us are accustomed to .
