Nearpod

  • Handout with Tips and Tricks
  • Description: Nearpod is an interactive presentation tool.  The presentation is controlled by the presenter, keeping iPad users focused and on pace.  The interface is dynamic and engaging.  Activities offer ways to experience information through images, video, and browsing.  There are several ways to check on student learning and things, with a quiz, open ended questions, and writing and drawing responses.  The presenter gets a collection of student responses quickly and similarly, students are able to see their results and work of other students when the presenter shares them.  Reports are generated as well and can be accessed though the website.  The remote control of the presentation direction and pace is magic to students and teachers alike!

    If only God would have dictated the creation account to the author in terms that complied with modern science, we would not be in the fix we are in! Shall we lay the blame with God? He could have brought the author “up to speed” and inspired a creation narrative that would have “stood the test of time”, and yet for whatever reason He chose not to. Instead, He inspired a creation story that fit into the cosmology of the primary audience, shepherds in ancient Palestine.
