Time is ticking! The Doodle 4 Google contest closes next Friday, March 22nd.
There’s still time if your students haven’t started doodling yet. Head over to the official contest site and download a drawing template and an Entry Form. The Educator’s Guide has fantastic resources for lesson ideas and managing the contest.
Recently, I changed the wallpaper on my student computers to images displaying doodles my students entered in the Doodle 4 Google contest last year (example below). While the Google Doodlers create phenomenal doodles, it’s great for students to see doodles created by other students. This visual can act as inspiration and great motivator for the reluctant doodler. Students also love to see doodles that won previous Doodle 4 Google contests.
Wouldn’t it be cool if a student of a DEN Star won the contest? Good luck to all!
