April Showers…

Blog post written by Kelsey Johnson.

…bring soaking wet kids into the classroom? Sure, we’ve all heard “April Showers bring May flowers,” but as teachers, you know that these showers may also bring on indoor recess as well. Fortunately, there are plenty of things to do to keep your kids entertained while you’re stuck inside.

Discovery Education can help you out with some rainy day videos that your students may enjoy.  Check out “Wilbur: Rain Dance/Milk and Sandwiches” or “Sid the Science Kid: Sid’s Rainy Play Date”, and see how they pass the time on their rainy days while learning about the importance of rain!
