Earlier this year, Canadian STAR Terra-Lee Gratton‘s students were featured in an article in the St. Paul (Alberta) Journal. The students were given a unique opportunity to dig up artifacts and learn about a civilization from thousands of years ago, all without leaving the comfort of the school. The interactive experience was put on by the Bodo Archeological Centre and Dig Site and Christie Grekul, a senior archeologist, was leading students in their discoveries and teaching them about the past civilization.
Have you been recognized in your local newspaper? Have you been published? Were you featured in an article or nominated for an award? We know STAR Discovery Educators are doing amazing things, but we don’t always hear about it. So take a moment to toot your own horn. Tell us about it. We want to brag about you too!
