The 2013-2014 Siemens We Can Change the World Challenge — the premier national K-12 environmental sustainability competition – is now open!
To help familiarize you with the Challenge, we are offering K-12 educators several opportunities to learn more during STEMtember, our big back-to-school event.
Join us tonight, Wednesday, 9/11 at 7pm ET for the first of our We Can Change Wednesday overview webinars. And don’t worry if you can’t make it, just read below for other ways to learn more about the Challenge.
STEMtember events include:
- We Can Change Wednesdays – Beginning September 11th at 7pm EST and continuing every Wednesday during STEMtember, this virtual event series will provide an overview of the Challenge, tips on getting started, suggestions on how to successfully complete the Challenge, and more!
- Access sustainability-themed classroom curriculum/resources that address Next Generation Science Standards and Common Core for elementary, middle and high school .
- Office hours through email and Twitter every Tuesday in September from 4-5pm EST with dedicated Challenge team members available to answer any questions you have.
- Promotional giveaways for your classroom, your students and you!
