If you’re looking to expand your knowledge of STEM resources, engage in hands-on professional development that pushes your thinking, and connect with like-minded educators, you have homework this weekend!
That’s right, because on Tuesday, February 4th at 5pm ET the application window closes for the Siemens Sumer of Learning. Want to know what you’re missing? Watch the video below. And that’s only from the STEM Institute! You can also apply for the Siemens Teachers As Researchers (STARs) event. We have a few suggestions below to polish up your application.
- Your Application Video. Make sure to submit your video in the correct format (a YouTube link; unlisted). But please note that the video is judged on content only, not the technical quality. So your video can be taken with your iPhone, a flip cam, etc. We simply want to see your excitement and passion for STEM.
- Your Recommendation. In order for your application to be eligible for judging, the reference form for your recommender must be submitted by the application deadline. You should receive an email once your recommender submits the form.
- Completing Your Submission. Don’t forget to click “Submit Application” once you have completed your application. If you do not click this button, your application will be considered incomplete and will not be reviewed.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to email the Siemens STEM Academy team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
