ENTRY #4 – PhotoPeach

photopeachPhotoPeach is our fourth entry in DEN March Madness. DEN STARs Sheila Fredericks and Carmella Doty both nominated this one. Sheila loves PhotoPeach and calls it “an oldie but a goodie.” To her, it’s a fun way to create a slideshow, that you can add a “quiz” to see if the students understand. Carmella thinks Photo Peach is a great tool for digital storytelling. You can turn photos and images into videos. You can upload photos, add text and music. You can also include quizzes inside the video. It’s very easy to use by students of all grades and teachers love to use it. It be used with Discovery Education content by using the images from Discovery Education.

Here are two examples of PhotoPeach in action – one from Sheila and another shared by Carmella.

Stay tuned to the DEN Blogs as we continue to share the entries for this year’s DEN March Madness. If you have a favorite tool to use with Discovery Education content, let us know.
