I’m currently teaching a course over at Wilkes on Sustaining Digital Literacy as part of the new EDGE program. I wrote the course and it launches this week. The course is essentially about developing resources and learning networks that allow you to stay current with emerging technologies and educational ideas. As quickly as new possibilities confront us, we need to find others to help us navigate the complexities given that there isn’t always formal research available.
As part of that process, we need to be able to curate and work through the flood of resources that is at our fingertips. In the course, I interview people who are walking the walk. Specifically in the area of curation are Larry Ferlazzo and Richard Byrne who are go to sources for new and emerging ideas. I sat down with them and asked them about the idea of curation.
