Happy Mousey Monday from Mousey to our Cache and Cookies readers! According to the Julian and Gregorian calendar, seven out of the twelve months in a year have 31 days and March is one of them! January, March, May, July, August, October and December all have 31 days in a month. All of the other months, besides February, have 30 days. February has 28 days in the month and 29 days if it is a leap year.
Discovery Education has an awesome video geared towards Grades K-2 on a system to remember which months have 30 days and which months have 31 days, minus February of course! The 2 minute video segment is titled Days in the Months. I am not in Grades K-2, but I still learned a new trick from this video!
We hope that you enjoy and use Discovery Education’s resources in your classroom! If you have any questions or comments please feel free to tweet us at @DESupportStars with #mouseymondays! Have a happy Monday and a great rest of the week!
