Take your students to the White House on May 27th. At 1:00 pm ET, you can virtually transport your students to the 4th Annual White House Science Fair.
Hear from a student scientist, a mentor and the head of the Siemens Foundation, a White House STEM official, as well as Eric Schwarz, CEO of US2020, a new multi-year mentoring effort that aims to match 1 million STEM mentors with students at youth-serving nonprofits by the year 2020. Students will have the chance to submit questions online to be answered live.
This virtual event is appropriate for 4th grade and up and will consist of an interactive discussion with Mythbuster Kari Byron, time for students to share their projects, and a Q & A about how mentoring helps students succeed.
